Health Stores Ireland is the representative group for family-run independent health food shops in Ireland
Members of Health Stores Ireland are committed to providing appropriate information and products to the public that protect and improve the health of each individual. Sustainability is at the core of both product selection and customer service. Members commit to providing on-going training for team members, with the successful completion of the Protocol for Customer Care being a requirement for all staff. Members endeavour to foster a spirit of co-operation and support for others within this association, while maintaining their own level of independence in business.
Health Stores Ireland promotes and protects the interests of health food retailers.
It set standards in the selling of products according to a Code of Ethics. It supports and encourages the growth, production, marketing and sale of products derived from natural, vegetable and where possible from organic sources.
Health Stores Ireland supports and encourages environmentally friendly products and production methods. We facilitate training and provide qualifications for those engaged in the industry to meet the professional standards as defined in the Code of Ethics of the Irish Association of Health Stores CLG.
Health Stores Ireland promotes and maintain good relations between health food businesses and the general public, manufacturers and suppliers, international and national regulatory and government bodies, media and other wellness organisations.
