About the role
Au Naturel Health Store is looking for a full-time Store Manager to run the shop day-to-day. You will lead the team, look after customers and keep the store well stocked, well presented and profitable.
Location
Goff Street, Roscommon Town.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the daily running of the store, including opening and closing procedures and cash handling
- Provide knowledgeable, friendly advice to customers on natural health products and nutrition
- Order and control stock, manage suppliers and keep displays fresh and accurate
- Make sure all products are sold and described in line with food supplement and labelling regulations
- Recruit, train, schedule and support the store team
- Drive sales through promotions, merchandising and strong customer relationships
- Keep the store clean, safe and compliant with health and safety requirements
Essential
- Knowledge of natural health products and nutrition
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility around working hours and work week, including Saturdays as required
Desirable
- Previous retail experience, ideally in a supervisory or management role
- A recognised qualification in nutrition or natural health, or willingness to work towards one
- Experience with stock control and point of sale systems
