Erica Murray has been unanimously elected as the new President of Health Stores Ireland.
Erica runs The Hopsack in Dublin as a family business alongside her daughter Kate and son Finn, and now she’s ready to take on this important role as the public face of our association.
As one of our founding members, Erica has been the driving force behind so many of our initiatives over the years. She’s led national campaigns, worked closely with regulators, and helped shape our industry standards. Many of you will already know her as one of our go-to media voices for the sector.
Looking ahead, Erica will be representing us at conferences, awards ceremonies, and all those important industry events. She’s also been instrumental in developing our customer care protocols and code of ethics, so she’s perfectly positioned to champion what we stand for.
It’s wonderful to see this leadership tradition continue in the organisation – Erica’s sister Jill Bell previously served as president, and now Erica is taking up the mantle from Gerald Colfer, who stepped down earlier this year after his dedicated service.
The unanimous vote really says it all about the confidence our members have in Erica’s vision for the future.
