Your Health Choice Matters

Your freedom to access safe, high-quality supplements is under serious threat.

The EU intends to set Maximum Permitted Levels (MPLs) for vitamins and minerals by 2026. These “one-size-fits-all” proposals adopt an overly restrictive precautionary principle, routinely ignoring individual nutritional needs and specific life stages.

Consider magnesium — one of Ireland’s most popular supplements, widely relied upon to support the nervous system during periods of extra stress, busy schedules, and poor sleep. Under proposed MPLs, the supportive doses many people depend on daily could disappear from Irish shelves entirely. Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C face similar risks of reformulation or withdrawal.

We champion a risk-benefit approach that prioritises real health outcomes over arbitrary limits.

The food supplement, vitamins and minerals  sector is already regulated by published FSAI Guidance, that includes a published list of Safe Upper Levels, to which we as retailers comply.

Our mission is to safeguard your access to safe, effective, and high-quality natural health products.

Join us in seeking smarter regulation — one that protects your right to individual health goals and targets.
